The architectural style of this villa is typical of the Dutch period houses found within the Fort with high ceilings, columns and archways. The house was one of the first to be refurbished in a wave of development that started in 1999.

Ambassadors
Ambassadors is a newly refurbished five-bedroom villa in Galle Fort, a magical old walled 300-house town like nowhere else in Sri Lanka. Enter through a small roadside gate to see a small tropical garden filled with green palms and frangipani and see a front terrace lined with colonial white pillars. The main sitting room, an entirely separate structure to the main house, is enormous with beautiful high ceilings to ensure a comfortable cool climate on even the most steamy Sri Lankan afternoon, comfortable cushioned sofas and some exquisite antiques, including Jaffna tables, Indonesian sculptures and one giant ebony alamera.

Orchard House
Orchard House is a restored 18th century colonial-style villa situated within the walls of the historic Galle Dutch Fort, a UNESCO protected World Heritage site on the southern coast of Sri Lanka. The Fort House
Built in the early 1800s this family home, situated in the heart of the Galle Fort, was originally occupied by a merchant and his mistress, and has recently undergone a complete transformation courtesy of its Hong Kong-based owners. Many of the original features have been restored and, when combined with an eclectic mix of modern and traditional features, the overall feel is of a comfortable family retreat.
